Tang Yun is a reading site. It does not require an account, and it does not sell personal data. This page explains the small amount of data that is collected and why.
What is collected
Reading. No account is needed to read poems. We use privacy-friendly aggregate analytics to count page views and referrers; these do not build a profile of you across other sites.
Print purchases. PayPal processes the payment and we receive a transaction identifier, the print and size purchased, the amount, and the email address associated with the payment. We store that record so we can restore your download access and answer billing questions. Card details never reach our servers.
Newsletter. If you subscribe to the weekly poem, we store your email address and the date you subscribed. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
Cookies. One cookie is set after checkout: a signed token listing the prints you have bought. It contains no personal details, only print references and an expiry date. No advertising cookies are set.
Who processes it
Payments: PayPal. Hosting and delivery: our own servers. Fonts: Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads; if you prefer, block them and the site will fall back to system serif fonts.
Your rights
Write to peter.wu@hadonglobal.com to request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion. We answer within 30 days. Deleting your record ends download access; refunds are handled by writing to us.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and past buyers are told by email.
This policy is written in plain language and is not legal advice.
