故人具鸡黍My old friend has prepared chicken and millet
邀我至田家and invited me out to his farm.
绿树村边合Green trees close around the village;
青山郭外斜blue hills slant beyond the wall.
开轩面场圃We open the window onto the threshing floor,
把酒话桑麻cup in hand, talking of hemp and mulberry.
待到重阳日When the Double Ninth comes round,
还来就菊花I will come back for the chrysanthemums.
